Hi Alistair and Ben
I wanted to thank you both once again for your hospitality and for such a great experience today. My father had a wonderful time -as did all of us- and it was incredibly generous of you to allow all the Morris family to experience the day. Gregor has now expressed an interest in Father Christmas providing him with his own tank ( I think I'd better start saving!).

We all really appreciated the experience- hope we were not too much of a handful.

regards
Lana
Dear Alastair
Thank you very much for a superb day out last Saturday. The one-on-one explanation of the many systems made the day so much more than just a tank driving experience.

You gave great insight into what it would be like to go into battle in a modern day battle tank and all the dangers involved and not just from the enemy. As you said this is a one off experiece in probably the only fully operational tank in the UK and is great value for money. The one regret is that I think I should have booked the full day. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality, shame about the weather.

Look forward to flying to your strip when the weather improves.

Regards,
Rob

Below is an unedited review written for TANK SCHOOL by a young lady customer:
“As myself and my sister anxiously walked towards the hanger where our tanking experience was about to begin, I couldn’t help wondering how a 5ft 2in girly girl like myself was gonna shift this impressive war vehicle. A T-55AM2 Polish battle tank to be exact. However it was around this time we heard a loud “crunch, bang!!” and suddenly we were engulfed in a huge cloud of smoke. Out from this intoxicating mass of fumes arose, as if a phoenix from flames, a massive, intimidating hunk of metal fit for heroes.

After an interesting, detailed and inspiring briefing we were ready to set off, although I have to admit I still could not quite see myself actually driving this thing. Once I had clambered into the drivers seat, I was taken aback with how complicated everything looked. It was amazing to think of the soldiers who had sat in the same seat before me and who actually had gone in to battle with it.

Over the loud whir of the engine Alastair gave very clear orders and I soon found myself powering along an open field. It felt fantastic and I couldn’t believe it was me.

I highly recommend this experience for absolutely anyone, not just macho men or adrenaline junkies, anyone can do it under the training that is on offer here. These guys know what they are talking about, and you can’t help but get into the spirit of it, with there passion and drive, encouraging you all the way.

I am a converted tank girl and still no drivers licence, but who cares?? I DROVE A TANK!!!
